Get up close and personal
Our farm tours give you an up-close and personal view of life on Herd It Here Farm. Learn about the wonderful world of alpacas; feel their luxurious fiber and how it's used to produce fabulous products. Take a selfie with Gidget, our goofy alpaca ambassador, and learn directly from the farm owner how he takes care of their needs.
Then experience our Silkie chickens, some of the most interesting birds around. Feel their soft feathers and feed them right out of your hand. Learn about how eggs are constantly produced by these lovely birds.
Our goats are next! Watch the pygmy goats relax, or if they're in a feisty mood, see them head butt and play with each other. Learn about our fainting goats, the sweet animals that freeze up and fall down whenever they're startled.
Then shop in our Country Store, full of alpaca fleece products and other local artisan items. Socks, scarves, gloves, toys and souvenirs are available for all budgets.
Feel free to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy it in our picnic area.
Tours must be pre-booked and are available each Saturday at either 10 am, 11:30 am or 1:30 pm

If you would like a more intimate experience, groups of 10 and under may schedule a private tour. This means no other individuals will be combined with your group. You will receive undivided attention from your tour guide and have the opportunity for even more animal interaction.
If your group has special requests or if you'd like to treat a friend or family member to a special outing for your group only, a private tour would be perfect, don't hesitate to ask how we can help.
We also do other private events such as birthday parties and we'd be happy to provide more information on this as well. Please feel free to reach out and let us know what kind of experience you are looking for and we will do our best to make that happen!

Herd It Here Farm is a hub for a variety of fun, interesting and educational events and classes. Our event schedule changes all the time as we invite guests to share their talents and as we find new and creative ways to connect with the animals.
